Yoga for me is a way to press pause and take some uninterrupted time for ourselves. Without feeling selfish, guilty or undeserving. Me-time shouldn’t be a rare luxury, it should be a non-negotiable part of everyday life.
After becoming a mom and losing touch with myself by tending to everyone else’s needs first, yoga was my gateway to nurturing my own needs too.
When our own cup is full we have so much more to give to others, I think we can all use a little reminder of that.
